After "Lost" goes off the air, so will Matthew Fox . . . for good.
"I won't be doing any more television," the 43-year-old actor told UsMagazine.com.
The father of two has been on major TV shows for the last 12 years.

He spent six years on the drama "Party of Five," playing the older brother, and then joined the cast of "Lost" as Dr. Jack Shepard in 2004.

"I've done . . . about 300 hours of television," he told Usmagazine.com at the season premiere event on Waikiki Beachin Hawaii last weekend. "I'm done with that."

The series premiere airs tonight on ABC and fans will finally get some answers to the perplexing situation of the Oceanic flight survivors.

"I'm either going to make movies with filmmakers I want to work with or I'll be doing something else entirely," he said.

But first things first: The star said he and his family will be moving back to Oregon after the stint in Hawaii, where "Lost" was filmed.
